Important Information for Applicants

  • Students must choose to specialize in either acting or Digital Media & Sound Design. All students will have classes in AI and emerging technologies.
  • Along with your application form, you must submit a 300 to 500-word essay explaining why you wish to participate in the program.
  • We may contact you via phone or Zoom as we review applicants.
  • Students applying to our program are expected to have an intermediate to advanced level of proficiency in English.
  • Applications will close once all available positions are filled.

What’s Included in the Program?

Participants can expect a comprehensive experience that includes:

  • Daily, weekday classes in acting or digital media & sound design
  • Afternoon workshops integrating performing arts with emerging technologies and AI
  • All-inclusive co-curricular excursions in the evenings and on weekends
  • Private (single) room accommodation with air conditioning at U of T’s University College Residence*
  • Three meals per day, featuring a variety of well-balanced choices, including vegetarian options
  • Health insurance
  • Full-time supervision
  • Airport pick-up and drop-off service**
  • Custodian form upon request

*Students may stay for one extra day before check-in day and one extra day after check-out day, including accommodations and meals. Should additional accommodations be required beyond this, an extra charge will apply.

**Please note that airfares are not included in the program fee.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

All cancellations must be made in writing via email. The program fee is refundable if received by the following dates:

  • May 13, 2025, 100% of total paid less administration fee
  • June 10, 2025, 80% of total paid less administration fee
  • June 24, 2025, 50% of total paid less administration fee
